Salute
Just over a week ago Paul and Word Forge Games attended Salute. There was lots of interest in Full Moon Jacket..I think Paul was happy!
Selfie-time...What has one thumb and is very happy!
Behing Perspex, but the models were on show!
Full Moon Jacket will also be demoed at UK Games Expo. More on specifics later..
We made a video
As we work to get Full Moon Jacket into distribution, it has become very clear that a gameplay video is a must. To that end, Mark and Paul travelled to the Wargamer Online Studio over this weekend and played a great game on camera. Hopefully we will have this by next update. In the meantime you may want to checkout the WargamerOnline Facebook or Youtube page, or even their actual page.

Hi Everyone!
Salute
Full Moon Jacket will be joining Word Forge Games at Salute in London this year. If you fancy seeing some of the models and talking with either Paul or Mark about how things are going come and see us at: TA14
X marks the spot!
Update
Note, over the next 2 weeks WFG will manufacture all the Wolf moulds for mass production of the resin miniatures. Once this is done we will see quick progress of the miniatures.
In the mean time, Paul will continue to finalise the cardboard aspects.
Marketing!
We are making some great contacts with distribution channels and have started bringing some marketing material together as well:
This is the FMJ side of the leaflet WFG will use at various shows this year
And this is the Sales poster that will be shared with potential distribution partners.

Firstly, I hope you are all having a great Easter Holiday and didn't eat too many Easter Eggs. I am on holiday in the middle of no where with very poor internet at the moment, so it will have to be a word only update today.
The Colonel is now fully cast and the Bag of Wolves wolves are not far off either.
Print and Play
And Paul has finalised the Print and Play!
Well done Paul...so exciting...
You will receive an email from Backerkit in the next 24 hours with a link to the Print and Play. If for some reason you do not receive an email or you have a different email than the one used in the Kickstarter campaign and pledge manager, please email me at [email protected]
I ask that you do not share the link online. Thank you.

Print and Play
With the Rule Book completed and the Campaign Book going through final tweaks the print and play is finally…READY TO DOWNLOAD THIS WEEK!! You will receive an email from Backerkit or from Strangely Games to your email used for the KS Campaign. This will instruct you to download from a secure link with the .pdf and .stl files ready to print.
Things I have learnt from the Kickstarter is how much work and energy everything from after the campaign has taken and how I underestimated it back at the end of November (which feels like a lifetime ago - only 4 months!!! WHAT!! I just found some grey hairs in this beard).
Progress:
There has been really great progress this week. To the point in fact, that we likely will have made all Colonel models and possibly even all Bag Werewolves.
Wolves in Resin
Below you will see some quick snaps of the first few resin miniatures off of the production line. These need some clean up and some de-sprue-ing, but we are mightily impressed by how lovely these models are:
Hand poses!
After the feedback last week our 'hand fix sculptor' and casters worked closely to ensure a nice mix of fists and open hands, as you can see above we now have a nice mixture of both.
New Partnership, Wolves and P&P!

Hello one and all!
Today I am pleased to announce that we at Strangely Games have agreed a partnership deal with Word Forge Games, who you may know from their own games Devil’s Run and D-Day Dice (Website).
We met WFG back in Essen in 2017 and immediately recognised a coming together of minds (and beards!). Mark Rapson (the MD of WFG) and Paul (me!) have become friends over the last few months and Mark has help us to get the casting sorted for FMJ Miniatures. As time progressed it has become clear that my skills are best positioned developing the game as I have been a little distant when communicating the progress of FMJ. As such, Mark has agreed to take over the majority of the updates and question answering.
Word Forge Games generally give weekly updates on their live projects, sharing progression and explaining to their backers when things don’t go to plan and what they are going to do about it. It’s a great approach which has been complemented many times…so with that I would like to welcome Mark Rapson!
Update:
Hello everyone…
I am very excited to be working with Paul on Full Moon Jacket, it’s a wonderful game and Paul has done an amazing job getting it from an idea to a successful project which over 500 of us want!
Going forward, I will be sharing a simple excel screen grab of the progression of the project as we work with Paul to fulfil your pledges and develop the game for retail.
Green: Complete, Amber: In Progress, Red: Problem, Grey: Not needed, White: Yet to be done.
As you can see, most of the miniatures are in production now and the Colonel is already coming through our casting process. There are a lot of models to make (24,000+), but we are well on schedule to meet the deadline.
Wolf Renders
We printed the initial wolf renders off ready for casting and discovered that the fingers as they were originally designed were too fragile. We would have had a massive fail rate, which would have cost a lot and seen a lot of waste, while also increasing the timescale massively. It would also have resulted in many broken hands arriving to you as the parcels transversed the postage system; so we have made some tweaks:
here you can see the original verses the new. The model is identical except the small fragile fingers have been made more robust as fists and suchlike
Print and Play
The aim is to get the PnP completed and ready for download by early next week. With the components ready to print (including all the KS exclusive cards) the rule book and campaign book are being tweaked and polished. You will be notified where and how to get hold of these bad boys when they are ready.
