Hi Backers,

Can anyone guess what game I have just punched out??

FULL MOON JACKET printed copy has arrived from China!!!  (Sorry for the blurry photo, too excited!!).

The end is now clearly in sight.  With copies to check from China (which are all amazing, thank you Eva!!) and all production now pretty much all completed we are looking at getting FMJ on a ship on the 20th May (fingers crossed), without doubt it will be shipping to UK by the end of the month.

 I sometimes forget how good the front cover is!!  Its awesome (Thanks Dark Inker!!!).

So, hopefully the next update will be to double check your addresses and get it sending out.

Timetable from China

Hi hope everyone is safe and taking care of themselves and family during this time.

So a few international events have happened since the last update in Feb, I just wanted to update ALL backers with the latest news from manufacturers.

But first here are some Werewolves being cleaned...

So China have updated the FMJ digital copies and a draft version has been sent over and will be (hopefully allowed into the UK) with us in a week.

So the update of the timetable  from the manufacturer (Eastar), if all goes well and the draft copy is of the highest standard it is looking to be end of May beginning of June the shipment of FMJ will arrive in the UK!!! 

YEEESSSS!!!! It has been a journey and a half, finally a (approx) date of arrival!!!

Thank you so so much for being patient, for being dedicated and supportive.

Its finally happening!!

BIG UPDATE

Hey, this is gonna be the BIGGEST update ever!

Thank you for your patience with FMJ and with me, as you know I am not the Social Media warrior I need to be and it wasn’t something I ever thought I would need to do before I designed and Kickstarted Full Moon Jacket. So let me summarise what has happened to FMJ during the Winter period…

December

With ALL of the remaining miniatures in big boxes delivered: the cleaning process has been the most time consuming aspect.  With incredible high quality of hand cast resin miniatures comes a big mess (in the front room!) and sometimes a fair amount of cleaning work.  Luckily I have had help (possible say child-labour - but he did offer!!) in cutting and cleaning 10,000’s of Werewolves and Heroes.  

We also found my original Battle Masters in my parent’s attic, and I got my ass kicked by my Son.  You have to really love those Hexagon tiles (so that’s were I stole, I mean got inspiration!) and a 6ft player mat!!

January

With the manufacturing of the cardboard components being created in China (Ningbo Eastar) Chinese New Year and some graphic design alterations has put a delay on the FMJ Prototype / Draft arriving for checks before the final go ahead.  

Meanwhile in my other F/T Teaching Job, I have got my students to redesign Moonstone (the classic Amiga 1991 game) into a tabletop game.  Seeing that it was heavily influenced by Dark Tower (1981) and it’s amazing Return on Kickstarter!!

The cleaning continues and space made in the front room as we tub up and move them down into the (now not flooded!!) basement.  Each bag contains 130 minis, each tub contains 8 layers of 3 bags (3000+ minis per tub) the end in sight and space to move around the front room (Sorry guys!!).

February

Waiting for a response and work to continue in China we get news of the Corona Virus.  I received an email from the manufacturer explaining “Currently Chinese government is taking all the possible measurements to fight against the corona-virus. All citizens are following the proper instructions to stay at home and stay healthy. I have faith in my country. Also we will strive to ensure the quality and delivery of all your orders.” Within a few weeks I have had confirmation that Ningbo Eastar are reopened and work has restarted.

With great love and patience, dedication and strength the completion of Full Moon Jacket is still continuing.  I think we can all agree this is going to be one of the most enduring Kickstarter projects we have been all part of.

As we enter the second half of February, deadlines and milestones keep shifting and getting further away, but I feel extremely positive in getting FMJ to you by May, 18 months and several dozen grey hairs later.

Evening Backers!!!

We have the FULL Team at FMJ Head Quarters!!! Each type of miniature is now being added and bagged up.  With some cleaning still going on, I'm bringing in the big guns, well when I say big guns I mean small hands... (9 y/o work experience!! - that's my Son before any calls childline!!!)

The bagging of the thousands of Minis has started!! Getting them ready for the printed boxes!! It feels good to have some complete sets ready to throw (I mean place carefully) into the game boxes.
